| Find a shop that specialize in that year of BmW ask them about your problem, ask if you can speak to the mechanic, and explain in detail, write done any information that can asisst the mechanic,like When if happens, hot,cold at certain temp, times, consistant , randomly, when it started, how long ago to me is could be many things, EVAP system, pressure lock ? mostly stalls engine when hot, Sensor going out of range when hot, causing rich/lean conditions...
Mass Air flow sensor > there are tests for that, you need a scanner, information how to test it, and specification info.... otherwise the mechanic is just guessing!
