| Option 1 or 2 would work. I would prefer 2 just because you may want to replace the headunit in the future and would have to re-run the RCAs at a later date. You might as well do it at once. As far as getting the remote lead, there really isnt one. You just need to hook it to the ignition lead and if you replace the headunit later, move the remote to the remote lead on the new headunit. Running the wires is kinda difficult in all of these BMW's. The best way is to run it down the edge where the carpet meets the plastic door sill. Take those off and pull the carpet back a little. Run it all the way back to where you are going to put your sub. Good luck...
