Wink Newbie Question - Which 3 Series?

Hi everyone!

I'm new on here today, love the site already

I am thinking of buying a 2 or 3 year old 3 Series and admit to not knowing lots about BMW's in terms of spec. etc. All I do know is that I adore the car, the style, the shape, the class it oozes, etc and I have always dreamed of having one! I am thinking of purchasing one, in the next 3-6 months (after my house move!). Can anyone give me any tips please?

I am on a budget (I think within reason everyone is) and so need to get an idea of what's best for me. I'd ideally like a 4 door, have thought of a Convertible too, but just am wondering about all options. Would love to chat to you all when you're free... thank you!
