jerking feeling

hey y'all,

i bought a 2008 528i in november 07. a couple of weeks ago i started the car and felt a "jerking" movement coming from under the car (maybe transmission area). the "jerking" occurred just after the engine turned over and it occurres at least once a day when i start the car. the car is at the dealer and they don't seem to know what is wrong with it. they called bmw engineering and were told that the "jerking" was normal. they did not think it was normal and decided to make more calls to other bmw engineers. they manager at bmw said they have never come accross this problem before. anyone have any ideas as to what might causing this prob?
