I recently read the comments on an EU web-chat, and my sentiment is shared by many who were airing their disappointment as well. The styling, and how BMW hasn't delivered anything even close to the concept - which BMW is blatantly stating it has seems to be the big issue. Also the recycled 3 Series headlamps. I mean, don't get me wrong, the quality will be there I'm sure. But really, after you load this little gas guzzler up you'll be looking at a price tag of 70 grand! Sorry, BMW needs to go back to the well on this one.
P.S. Maybe the proposed X6 Hybrid might be worth it, but as the world begins to scrutinize the many issues - alternative fuels, hybrids, PHEVs, and whatever else will be thrown into the mix, I believe the present X6 offering will experience sluggish sales here in the States. | Sluggish sales...I do not think so. There were three test divers at my dealership looking at the X6 when I bought mine and the dealer has everyone he is allocated on reserve. Yesit is a gas guzzler but some of us must have and SUV/SACto do our jobs. At least this one feels a little more like a sports car than an SUV. I had the Range Rover Sport before this and it canot hold a candle. Everyone who has seen this X6 says WOW hot car. No one has called it an SUV yet.
