Project: E38 armrest with BT phone into E46 MOD

Bigger, more storage, takes a phone which means you get to keep your cup holders! was wondering if it would be possible
...so bought one - ebay

the good news is itll slide backwards and forwards and lift and provides storage
you need to slide it back to get to the handbrake and you need to slide it forwards to get to the rear passengers central cubby hole
it brushes the seats but no big deal

the upper leather covered armrest lid has gone
the carrier needs to be adapted (with hacksaw, bench grinder and large wrench to snip off alloy) to sit nicely on the tray
