| I have 77k miles. A new battery was put in two weeks ago, after the system was tested and determined that the alt was pumping out the right voltage. When I took it in, the charging light was intermitent (seven days apart) quick on/off.
Yesterday, the light was blinking once every minute for 15 mins. I shut it down and towed it to my hometown BMW dealer. I believe the estimate will be around $1,400.
I don't understand since the alt costs ~$450 with shipping from Bavauto.com and should be under 3 hours in labor.
What do you think/recommend? |
