| Yes, some of them do have crappy plastic impellers...but I don't know if that model year has them or not. You definitely are getting in the mileage zone where a new water pump would be a good idea.
It's also possible that the holes between your expansion tank and your radiator have become clogged, or that there are bubbles in your cooling system.
When you take off the oil cap, is there anything that looks pasty yellow or like cottage cheese?
