Wiper relay location

I have a BMW 528i, and the wipers have stopped working. I've read a couple other threads regarding the same problem, and they all seem to point to the relay 1st. My question is where is the relay located? I've looked under the cabin filter passenger side for a tall, tan relay, but find only short purple, pink, and green boxes. Somebody please help me, as I'm quite frustrated at this point in time.

I actually have already read all of these forum entries, but when I look under the cabin filter assembly I see no such relay. To add to my B.S. I stripped the plastic that holds the metal female end of the screw.
WTF!
