Has anyone found a brand of rubber inserts to replace the blades on the e39?

I also did a search and it's the 24" blade on the driver's side that gives the problem. I ended up buying my new ones at the dealer for about $15 each (ouch).

Passenger side is an Anco N-22R refill.

For the drivers side I buy an Anco N-28R (for Mercedes single wiper cars) and cut it down with a razor blade. The N-28R comes with snap-on end caps that hold it in place, you'll just need to make 2 new "indents" similar to ones that you cut off on the new end.

Under $10 and you even have an extra 22" refill for the passenger side.
