Windshield Wiper Problem

I have a 2001 525i and the windshield wipers have stopped working. The washer sprays fine, but the windshield wipers don't move. Have tried to move the wipers by hand and that did nothing and I do not hear that the wiper motor is running either.

I have checked the fuses and they are fine.

I have read about a lot of problems with the relays. Does anyone know where they are located on this model?

The wipers are controled by three relays designated, K11, K36 and K37. All are located in the E-box at the right rear of the engine compartment below the micro filter housing. This location is for the V8 engined cars but i think it may hold true for the 6 cyl engined cars as well. The relays in question may be hidden under the wiring harness.
