I've got a 92 525i, and I think the window switch in the center console needs to be replaced. Does the switch cluster just pop out, or is there more to it?

Just use a butter knife and pry the switch from console carefully at left and right side. It should pop out easily. It usually just need good cleaning for it to be working properly. I used electronic cleaner (you can get it from Radioshack) and works like a charm.

Cheers!
