My recently purchased 1997 528i came with those wonderful 15 inch stock rims. I was thinking I might get lucky and find a 528i with the sport rims but no such luck.
So, I've started my quest to locate a set of upgrade rims. Going from 15" to 17" will be just fine for the look I want... plus anything larger will have me changing flat tires more then I care to, with the Indiana potholes.
Anyway, I came accross these on ebay and wanted to get some expert opinions on them and mostly find out if they will actually fit my ride? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43957
Have a look and give me your feedback on fit and look.
It says right on the page that they are 15mm offset, which is fine...for an E39 5-series, anything between 15-18mm offset is ideal, while anything up to 25mm is OK. Those rims should be fine.
