I am going to look at a set of 18" M5 repo wheels with 245/40/R18 all the way around

Is this to wide for the car? My car is stock.

I believe 235/40 is recommended, however 245/40 should be okay. call the tire shop and ask em.

I think it would look sweeet if you did 245/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear.

18inch wheels always look great........can you put one on at the persons place you buying them off and see if it all fits ok ?
Are they the genuine M5 wheels.....I think the rear ones are slightly wider than the front (half inch)........
I also remeber one of the forum members mentioning wheel arch- liners, but I cannot exactly be exact on that one.
Send us some pics if it all works out for you.

Chers.

SILVERLEA.

Na they are repo wheels. They were on another 528 but just wanted to make sure they are not to wide. And the tires are all the same size. I am pretty sure that they will fit. Just wanted some second opinions.

Hey Mike, I have 245/40 R18 Continental Extreme Contact tires with AC Schnitzer wheels in my car. Just be careful as Silverlea mentioned, the rear ones are 1/2 wider. Make sure you do not put the rear wheels in the front or they will rub... when you drive the car listen to any rubbing sounds...
