i know there are plenty of people out there who will say that sohc 3v has its advantages and that is why mercedes chooses that layout. but my real question is, if the SOHC 3v configuration is so good, then why is mercedes slowly coming with the times and moving to DOHC 4v with there new 3.5 V6 and the next generation of s-class V8s? So why the Cange if all this time theyve been saying SOHC 3v is better?
thats the only thing that would ever sound alureing to me about audis, they have 5 valves per cylinder, i dont know if that would really do any good but it just sounds cool. he. he.
