Whistling noise from top when driving above the speed of 140 KM / H.

I don’t know from where this Whistling is exactly coming but it is really annoying

Can any one help me to locate it?

I have e39, 530 – 2002.

First point is the seal around the sunroof. Try putting some tape over the profile of the sunroof to see if the noise is still present, work on it from there.

I think you are right. I had some work on my sunroof recently.

Check that the glass is shutting properly and not stopping slightly out of position. I am pretty sure that there is a manual method of moving the glass, so that might be worth fiddling around with.
