Title says it all. I'm having a crazy week and after I get my front end work and new tires on Friday morning I have to shoot straight down to Indy, at which point I may have a couple free hours in which to get an alignment done. Of course I really want to avoide the dealership on Meridian if possible. Please recommend a place that can do it quickly and cheaply!
Also, something just occured to me: I'm having my tires installed at Tire Rack's headquarters (I'm from South Bend), and they're really into Bimmers there...I wonder if they have the ability to align BMWs? I bet they do...I'll be calling them tomorrow if I can, but if anyone knows for sure please speak up!

Umm any alignment shop in the indionapolis area? Call 411 once you get there - they search by type of business, and could probably give you a number of a local place you could go to.
Well at least in the South Bend area many places are unable to align my car. Even my mechanic, who specifically works on BMWs, tells me I have to go to the dealership to get it aligned. I have tried searching for places in Indy, and so far have been unsuccessful. I posted because I know there are a number of guys from Indy on these forums.

Dont take it to a dealer. Go to a local body collision shop..they do alignments all the time so they know what they are doing. Also as an avid customer of tirerack in South Bend I don't believe they can realign your steering..I could be wrong though.

BMW 1990: Thanks for the advice. I see you're from St. Joe! I'm up there right now for a summer internship with Whirlpool. Are there pics of your car anywhere? I may have seen it. I've spotted a few black E36s lately.
