Wheel sizes?

Im looking into aftermarket rims. Im very fond of the M5 style (knockoffs) and Beyern Mesh wheels. Basically my biggest concern is wheel size. I want to have something larger than stock ( i think 15") without sacraficing ride quality and durability. I live in PA and we have LOTS of potholes. Not to mention the smaller the rim the less it weighs. So should I go with 17, 18, or 19? Personally I want to go with 18's. What are your thoughts?

I've my 18s for 5 years now and no problems. They're 18x8's with 245/40/18 Fuzions. No problems with rubbing, etc. A litle different with your car but yours is do-able as well.
