wheel options e39 vs e60

Anybody know whether E39 wheels are compatible with the E60?

well, i checked online on some wheel websites where ive bought my wheels before, they all show both wheels as 5x120 with same offsets....dunno how much help that is...

actually, i found this online too....

The E60 uses 72.5mm hub centers, so the wheels will not bolt directly to the E39's 74mm hubs without some sort of modification or adapter.

However that does mean that E39 wheels would fit on E60 hub centers.
