I bought a torque wrench today and used a torque wrench for the first time today but I am unsure what ft/lb's to tighten my wheels too. I took them off to clean them and let me just say if you want clean wheels, go buy a torque wrench and take them off to clean them...
Do I put it any higher for aftermarket wheels? Or just always put it to 88 on my car? Can I overtighten them (i know about stripping the screws) over 88? or just put it to 88?
I think 88 is enough torque, you dont want to overtorque. What size are the aftermarket wheels?
<edit> I see by your sig that you have 18 inch wheels, i still think 88 is enough but you can go 95 if it makes you feel more comfortable, i definitely wouldnt push it over 100 foot lbs.
JESUS FUCKIN WEPT - PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE WHEEL NUT BRACE AND STAND ON IT UNTIL IT CRACKS- FUCKIN TORQUE LOL MAKES ME PISS MY PANTS, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BOTHER TORQUEING YOUR WHEEL NUTS??????????????????????JUST MAKE SURE THE CUNTS DON'T FALL OFF.
