ahunang n00b Join Date: Dec 2004 Car: Posts: 8 Photos:	about to buy a 2005 5 series in black. what's the difference between metallic black vs. jet black? is metallic black worth the extra cost?

Furious ex owner/admin Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Toronto-Canada Car: turbo e36 325/s50 and e46 330xi Posts: 10,839 Photos:	hmmm, i believe the explaination is that jet black is much flatter than metalic (jet black would be that standard black you see on cars) metalic black would actually have more metalic flakes in the paint to give it more of a shine in the paint. __________________
