I'm looking at buying a 93 525i automatic with 181,000 miles. The car is very clean and they guy wants $4900 for it. I know that BMW's last for years, but anybody have any advice on what to look for specifically with this car? Don't need to get burned if I can help it!
Thanks!

With this kind of mileage? I'll look at everything.....While BMWs may last for years; it all depends on how this car was treated by the ex-owners!

Having it checked and diagnosed by a pro; is not a bad idea....good luck

93 525i

I have a 95 525i with 236k. The miles aren't as much a concern as the condition of the car. Have it checked out by someone you trust if you yourself aren't educated enough in the auto field. Good luck!
