will it reset the radio? or will i need a code to start it again?thx
That depends on what radio you have in your car , it helps if you tell us what car you have and what stereosystem. In my car there is no code so disconnect the battery is no problem.
my e30 I have a 4 digit code for the radio if I disconect the battery. In most cars you seem like you will loose your presets on the radio and maybe seats if you have that option.
