what is the difference between C43 and B53

Could anyone please explain to me what is the biggest difference between C43 and B53 radio that came with E39s (probably as well as E38s, E53s, E46s, etc.).

I have 03/2000 E39 M5. It has MKII Navi-Drive with C43-Radio and stock CD changer. The only upgrade is 4:3-screen to 16:9-screen from newer E39. Everything else all original.

I found MKIII from 2002 - 5-series, but it comes with B53 radio and none DSP AMP. Now I know the AMP would be useless to me, since I have DSP sound in my M5, but I do need the B53 radio? If so, is this the unit that has AUX input, because that would be awesome?

Here is the B53 part #: 65.12-6 904 213 - AI:03 BECKER
