Sound crazy ghead anyone knows where is the engin VIN number which match the car VIN number?

My car still in the shop after 2 month repair I don't know if they swap my engin with somone else

Go to the BMW dealer with your registration give him the seriel number he will pull the original engine's number installed on the car. One catch though if you bought the car used and one of the ex owners swaped engines without updating the dealer then you are out of luck!

Hi!

I think the VIN can be located on the driver's side dashboard where the windshield glass meets the hood or by the driver's side door jam.

The question is where the ENGINE SERIAL number is? Wiseman did you try to visit/call BMW dealer? If so any luck? Forgot to tell you we have some expert BMW mechanics on the forum they can give you 1st hand info.
