How much do you think one of those twin turbo'd alpina engines run for? And would they out perform the e34 m5s?

Ive only seen one for sale online and they were asking low 30s for it with a little over 100k miles, that was a while ago though.

Makes sense though, because some of the e34 M5s go all the way up into the high 20s.

Im pretty sure it owuld outperform the e34 M5, because its the 208hp engine with two turbos, so im sure its over the 310 hp mark that the M of the same year puts out. Not to mention the other performance mods that it came with...

oh sorry - you were talking abou the engine....

i've seen on on ebay for $4,000 but im sure thats the cheapest you'll ever see, it would probably be cheaper to just get the 3.5l engine and turbo it yourself (not sure though)

I heard that if you have that much power in a 525, you need to change the diff, driveshaft, tranny and a few other things to make sure the car can hold up to it.

Actually it has 360 HP and 383Lb/Ft of torque.

You would probably need to start with low compression Mahle Pistions, since the B10 has 7.2:1, you need stronger Con-rods, an intercooler, the ecu needs a hot chip that has anti detonation software on it. Another cam would be needed, but I don't know what kind.

I have been looking on theinternet for these as well, but haven't been able to find any.

BTW, has anybody seen any E24 B7, even an E28 B7 would be cool.

Hope that helps.
