Unhappy Urgent Help Pls !!!

Hey Guyz..

I need urgent help with light from on board..

1. The new light came up just now...it on the right most bottom corner of my 99' 528i. It looks like a round wheel with splines outside and its yellow in color. I don't how it came up but made me really upset. Can anybody tell me whats goin on with that light pls?

2. My vehicle has misfire problem since 2 hours and every shop is closed. Can anybody really throw some light , as to what needs to be done?

Thanks a ton in advance...

A first guess from things I've seen: it could be a transmission control module issue.

Thanks

Thanks Buddy..Any other insights why misfire might occur? From the manual i came to know that its a misfire. As soon as I start the vehicle, it shows engine check light and there is misfire feeling and then car stops. I again have to give it a start and then it works.

Misfires can be from many things, but it can't hurt to check the plastic intake ducting for cracks.
