Hey guys I just bought a 2000 528i with sport and premium packages and as far as aftermarket has a Dinan front strut tower brace, Stage 1 Dinan suspension, Dinan tuned ECU and a cone filter type intake. It has some sort of exhaust work, I think its just the resonator and a DynoMax muffler, the stock cats are still there.
What I'm trying to do is get the car up to around 230 hp without a turbo or a supercharger. Any tips of what I can add onto it based on the small amount I already have on?

I have the same car mate, although minus the Dinan stuff. IMHO one of the things you could look into is S52 cams, M50 inlet manifold, and 24lb fuel injectors. However, you would probably need some sort of custom tune for the cams but being the M52TUB28 is very similar to the S52 motor in the M3 you could probably make similar power. You can also look into an under drive pulley system as well.
I know you don't want to go the supercharger or turbo route but for slightly more money you can make more power easier. VF Engineering in California has a Centrifugal supercharger system for $5K that claims to make close to 300hp crank. ESS Tuning in Sweden has a Twin Screw system for under 7K that makes slightly more power but has a very broad power band compared to VF's system. My point in all of this is you can make bigger power more efficiently this way. It's something to think about. That's all
Awesome, thanks. Do you have any idea about cost and hp gain on the S52 cams, M50 inlet manifold, and 24lb fuel injectors respectively?
With a good tune you might be able to gain 20-30hp. It's something I am thinking about doing soon but I'm also thinking about going the F/I route instead. Still back and forth on what I want to do.
You mean 20-30hp with all 3? and what about prices? Are they going to cost me 3grand? I mean, I'd much rather save the money than spend 1500-2000 just for 20-30hp. What do you mean F/I?
