Hey guys,
I am two clicks away from buying a M5 off ebay! I need some reassurance this is the right car for me, lemme know, I'm getting an ichy trigger finger here..
I actually have to say the contrary
I've always had Conties on my e30, and I'm very content with them
My mom had Michelins on her Benz, and they were awful... they felt spongy and the ride was horrible, the whole car felt like a ship in the storm
after she switched to Continentals, it got a lot better.. and the rain traction has always been very good, both on the e30 and the Benz as well as on the Volvos.
And no, I'm not saying that because Conties are German and Michelins are French
do it! but i like my P- Zero Nero's thy stick nice! conti's are OK yokos AVID's are better...

I guess he didnt buy it, as it is still for sale. You know, I kinda feel like calling BS on that post. Maybe I'm wrong, but If I was trying to decide whether or not to buy a $100,000 car, I don't think I would just jump into a car forum and ask people I barely knew for reassurance. Unless $100,000 is chump change to him, I dunno.
But damn, that car costs more than my first house did. I damn sure wouldn't buy one off ebay. I'd be test driving that mutha for sure before I slapped down 100 large.
