This is the second time it has happened, but the turning stalk (indicator and high beam stalk) is loose and just flops around. I does not seem to snap in for a turn or a high beam flash. Can anyone diagnose this? Is it broken and needs to be replaced? It might be coincidence, but both times it has happened, it has been -10.
It's probably either a broken switch, or the base that it secures to is cracked.
You should be able to tell by removing the column trim and having a looksy.
