I have a '97 528i with about 155k on it. I will be getting a tune up soon and I just wanted to know what price range I should be expecting not to be paying too much or whaat not. Also what should be getting done in this tune up?

I honestly don't know what it should include, but everything a tune up can be is oil change, tranny fluid change, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, coolant flush and maybe power steering fluid... other than that I really have no idea.

Plus, you could do all the things I listed above yourself in a couple of hours.

You should at least do the plugs & ait filter yourself and save some money. You'll need the boots and plugs. Not too difficult to do.
Price range for parts only on a six cylinder $120 plugs & coils (boots) & air filter. Oil change at a private shop, around $40-50
