| Trunk Lock Not Auto Locking/Unlocking
All doors, trunk and gas door locking mechanisms are functional on my '95 E34 sedan. The trunk lock works properly when operated manually.However, the trunk does not auto lock when the doors are locked. And, the trunk does not auto unlock when the doors are unlocked. (Yes, I have performed the lock resync procedure.)
The trunk was in sync and auto-locking/unlocking just fine (with the doors) for many years until a family member used the key to manually lock/unlock the trunk a few times.
How do I reset the trunk lock to again sync with the door locks? I have researched the Web and the Bentley manual but no luck. Your expertise is appreciated.
