amentalimage n00b Join Date: Jan 2009 Car: Posts: 2 Photos:	Transmission failure help. I am trying to put a used AT tranny in a 92 525i touring wagon that is the for the same year make and model. I want to know if I can just slap it in or if ther will be problems, mainly with the TCM. How hard of a job is it, is there any special tools. Please help.

I would find a reputable import wrench and have them give you an estimate. At the very least they can guide you on some things you may run into that will help.
