tracking problem

ok guys,just purchased an e28,its been lowered,has 18inch wheels and spacers,it needs tracking but needs to be a certain degree,any ideas,thanks.

Ummm... I don't exactly know how to address your query.

"Track" in automotive jargon is: the distance between the centers of the treads of either the front or rear wheels of a vehicle.

... and that has nothing to do with a measure of degree.

It is toe-in, caster, and camber that are measured in degrees.

a lowered car, the use of spacers, and aftermarket wheels does alter your steering geometry and wheel alignment; and your best option would be to consult with an alignment shop that has experience in this type of alteration because the factory specs as a basis for alignment will no longer apply.
