Tires for 530i 2002

So far I used Yokohama C-drive on my 2002 530i & I was always having noise & vibration problems. This time I have to change & wondering what you guys recommend for me.

Although you may not be able to buy from web sites because of shipping, you may find a lot of user reviews on the tire shopping sites.

coolvegase34 is an unknown quantity at this point
I have pirelli touring tires on my e34 and they ride and handle great. I priced a new set of 4 at discount tire just for kicks and they quoted me $475 installed.

I have Bridgestone Potenza run flats on my E90 and despise them in every way. For a fiver I would look Michelin first (great but pricey - depends on what you're looking for and how you drive as to size and model but the usual Werkzian is a spirited driver and standard is Michelin Pilot Sport or PS Exalto). As said recently in another thread, I'd take a long hard look at Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas as they are quiet, sticky and can be found at a great price! Lastly, once upon a time, I had good luck with Cooper tires.

Good luck!

One other question is about your driving style and expectations from a tire. Its a little bit unrealistic to expect a high performance soft tire to give you 100,000km of wear, or an ultra long wearing tire to be a super performance option.

They slipped all over the road dangerously and not even at speed on turns, they were easily damaged (bubbled and went flat in a day) from mild potholes, and cost a ton, these are my reasons.

Here I think the issue is more about which tire offerings are run-flat; I think those are rubbish!

Continentals are good in general. Many BMWs come equipped with Conti's from the factory.
