Thrust Rod (upper control arm)????

Will a Thrust rod and bushing from an E32 750li fit on an 88 528e? I heard people were using the bushing because they were stronger? Im not sure if it is just the bushing from the E32 or bushing and thrust rod?

Its just the bushing and it can be made to fit but not without modification. The bushing is too wide to fit in its mounting area and must be ground down to install it.
