Hello brothers,

I'm thinking about getting a 2001 BMW 530i, 69K miles, sport pakage, nag. sys. and many more.
The asking price is $19,900.00.
My questions are:
How much should I pay for this car?
Are there any problems w/this type of car that I need know?

I'll say good car....they took many bugs out of the e39.......price is ok.....take a look at this one....Euro edition......wishing the best

How about the timing belt, when do you have to change the belt?

I tell you on the 5 series the belt is not an issue...it is very tough...compared to the way it used to be on the 3 series....Rubber was good for 50k miles vs. metal chaine...

I'm looking at a 2001 530i also. It has 79k miles has about everything except the navigation system, the dealer is asking 23k for it. Looks in good shape. Is there anything in particular I should be concerned about and does the price sound ok. Thanks.
