| im sure this has been discussed but only having my 02 530i for 6 months im just discovering it. i thought it was bad enough that the cupholders are pathetic....but damn, i cant believe the thermostat for the auto-climate is in the same place as the cupholders so when you put a hot starbucks in the cupholder the damn thing thinks it's 120 degrees in the car and cranks up the a/c to bring the temp down to the setting. This works out so when its a cold morning i get blasted by a/c unless i hold my coffee in my croch...which can be dangerous.
