Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to install E39 standard suspension shocks with Eibach sports springs which would lower about 1.3 inches?

I have installed new shocks last fall and now one of the original spring I had reused has broken.

Do I need new sport shocks with the sport springs and if not, what kind of ride will I get if I use standard shock with sport spings.

Just get new sport shocks... the stock ones weren't designed for the dropp your adding...

You say not designed. What are the reprecussions if this is done.

not handling properly, and that shocks could fail prematurly... i dont know how much stuffer Eibach make there springs but i would HIGHLY sugest putting on some bilsten sport shocks or some Koni Yellows...

Thanks. I have been considering using my stock shocks but I wanted to educate myself from all persectives.

just save up a bit longer and replace the shocks with ones designed for a dropp you will be alot happyer

Thanks for your reply, I was just trying to reuse my new shock if it was possible but I don't want ot have to do this job again next year. The rear is especially a pain.

you can probably sell them on craigslist.org for a bit
