I changed everything @ 115K. I previously had sport suspension with Style 19 wheels (17 in.). I bought OE M5 wheels (18 in.) and did front wheel bearings ($300), H&R sport springs ($200), Bilsteins sports ($500) and M5 rear sway bar with bushings ($100). Go to Shox.com for other suspension setups. When pricing the replacement of my suspension parts there wasn't much difference between stock verses lowering. I did lose a little of the cushy ride, but for myself the car has a better stance and performs well when driving hard in corners.

If you haven't got the sport package now would be a good time to upgrade. It's the m-tec set up which drops the suspension by 15mm and stiffens things up a little. Not a major drop but good enough for BMW to call a sport setup.
