Steering gear box for 89 535i

I am new here and I am seeking help.
I have a 1989 535I and the gear box has play and the car wonders on the road.
Does anyone know if this is an adjustable repair or will I have to replace it?
If so what years and models will fit?
Or does anyone have one for sale in good shape?

Most of the time you can adjust it a little ... if not, then there you go, the replacement procedure is in there too.

Hope that helps.
