Staining on sideview mirrors

beautyland n00b Join Date: Apr 2004 Car: Posts: 35 Photos:	I have this on my mirror too. (very little and does not bother me). Still the answer to the question is. There is a special paint put on the glass and that makes it a mirror. As the mirror ages out in bad weather (cold and hot) that paint on the back starts peeling off. That looks like stain. Dunno how to prevent that. May be parking in the garage or covering the car will help.
