Hi everbody my name is vincent and this is my first time on this forum. I have a 1994 530i and I have a couple of problems that I need help with. I just bought the car and when you are taking a corner it almost feels the wheel gets stuck for a second or hits a ruff spot it dosent do it all the time it feels like something is binding, also when you get on the car it almost feels like the tranny is hitting the floor I dont know if a mount is gone or what but it only dose it when you really get into it and last the SRS light is on and I wanted to know how to start checking things to find out what the problem is. If anybody can help I would be greatful and it also would be nice to find out what I should watch out for with this car as far as future problems, thank you in advance.

get the codes read for the srs light.
The thud you'll have to get under the car and check the engine an tranny mounts anso check the driveshaft
On the steering does it feel like you lost power steering? also check you Powersteering fluid level

Check the front control arms for binding, as well as driveshaft flex disk and center bearing. I honestly can't see anything else doing that.

As far as the SRS light; just learn to live with it (as I have also

). The dealer will want an arm and a leg to scan the thing and tell you what is wrong with it, and then even if nothing is wrong, they'll charge you about a million to reset it ...
