| In my recently purchased '97 540i, whenever I turn on the climate control and have the fan at 4 "bars" or above, a squeaking noise comes from under the hood. It intensifies as I turn the fan up higher, but is silent when at 1, 2, or 3 bars. I'm new to these cars, and just looking under the hood I didn't know exactly what to check first. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
