Sports and Winter Package

Hi all,

I am new to the BMW world, soon to be at least... I am looking to purchase a new 2004 BMW 530I. The owner claims that it has the sports/winter package. However, it does not have a NAVI. How do I know if hey is lying? I called BMW NA, they could not tell me.
The vin # is:
wbana73544b800035

Before I purchase it, I wanted your input. It is for $16500 and has 65K on it. Let me know your thoughts and how I may be able to find out if he is lying or not.

Just checked the VIN, couldn't find anything about the sport/winter package. You'd be better off maybe having your local dealership check the VIN - I'm using the German version and sometimes the codes don't translate.

You can either call the dealership and ask them to run it, or if your in the US you can email TheBMWPartsStore.com and they can do a free VIN option printout for you. I had one done for my car and it gives you all the options and packages it came with from the factory. Just title it "VIN Decode Request" and they usually get back to you within 2-3 days.
