Speradic Antenna Problem

it doesn't seem to work all the time. i think that it might be a lose wire somewhere...

any ideas on this? has anyone else had this problem?

What year?? I have the same problem with my 95 540i.....???? ghead !

It works sometimes and other times have poor reception..

it's a 93 525i.

just found out that it's just the FM that doesn't work.

update:

found out today that it'll come and go with a hit on the dash board.

i guess i'll pull the radio and see what's up

in my 96 e36, i had the same problem. The FM radio worked every so often, sometimes coming on with a hit on dash, but AM worked perfect. I didn't know what was wrong so i just replaced the radio and now everything works perfect FM and AM, haven't had a problem in 3 or 4 months
