I recently ordered Bosch W8LCR plugs. However I received Bosch WR8LC plugs instead. Are these plugs the same? Also the recommended gap is 0.7mm, however the WR8LC plugs have a gap of 0.8mm. Should I decrease the gap back down to 0.7mm?
I just contacted Bosch here in Aus. WR8LC are the new plugs whereas the W8LCR are the old ones. The only difference is the 0.1mm difference in gap.
To pose another question, will a larger gap be detrimental to performance? I think that it may be harder to start in the mornings but there will be less chance of fouling. Is this correct?
