pollyo is an unknown quantity at this point
I bot a 01 525i 4 months ago. It has 38k miles on it. After driving about 300 miles and stopping at a friends house, I noticed some mild smoke coming out from both front wheel wells. It sort of smelled like burning oil, so I chalked it up to the maitenance guys spilling a little on the engine. The smoke didn't return for about 6 weeks. I drove down to my in-laws (about 120 miles) and parked the car on the driveway and poof there was the smoke again. I opened the hood and could see mild smoke coming from the left side of the engine. After waiting a few minutes I took of the cap and could see mild smoke coming from the engine. ANy suggestions to what is wrong.
