Slight RPM decrease with Throttle

Hey everybody, new to the Bimmer forums and need some help. I have a UK spec 1996 BMW 523i. No MIL/CEL, with a slight depression on the gas pedal the RPM drops about 250 then increases as normal. Just noticed it while idle in the driveway. From what I've read this could be a vacuum leak potentially? Anybody have any ideas. Thanks.
