Sliding noise below seat floor

Just curious if anyone has ever experienced a noise similar to something sliding under your left leg, possibly under the floor? If you have ever heard this you will understand what I am talking about. It is hard to describe but in short, it sounds like a wooden block sliding around in a shoe box.

Yes, I have checked all the storgage compartments, and the interior is spotless under the seats etc.. so no junk apparently. lol....

This only happens when taking a sharp turn as into a driveway or slowing down quickly setting up for a sharp curve.

At first, I speculated it could be the seat belt pretensioner mechanism but that is just a shot in the dark.

Any guesses?

For sure this is a tough one.....while your description of the problem is very clear, I failed to connect the dots between the sliding noise by the left leg (under the floor) and the seat belt tensioner part...Any relation?

If I have to take a wild guess?
Either a rubber bushing some where on the front end/ frame going south or the rubber jackpoints fell off and/or in the car base under the drivers side.

But again this would have given you a whistle like sound.
Anyone?

Thanks Bill, I have no clue on how the pretensioner works. I guess I was thinking of some sliding mechanism the reacts to sudden changes in motion.

I will check out the bushings and everything else I can. The noise is just another very small quirk that doesn't take anything away from the performance of the car. It just makes me scratch my head.
